What are grades?

Grades are a system for the quality of the pins. Each pin is thoroughly inspected for any flaws and sorted into different categories depending on the quality. As each pin is handmade, flaws sometimes occur, but they are still quality items nonetheless.

Our grading system is as follows:

    A Grade : Perfecr or near perfect quality pins.

    If there are any flaws, they are barely visible. Very small flaws may include but are not limited to: small imperfections to the metal plating, scuffs, slightly misplaced screenprint, very small marks in the enamel

    B Grade : Good quality pins. Flaws that may not be noticeable, or only visible under bright light.

    C Grade : Lower quality pins. Flaws that are more noticeable, but do not change the look of the pin.

    Seconds - Heavily discounted as flaws may change the look of the pin.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to most countries via Pos Malaysia and the shipping rates are as follows :

Malaysia : USD2

SEA Countries : USD10

Non-SEA Countries : USD12.50

All of Bangtan Pins' orders come with a tracking number and are registered mailers. 

Please note that custom taxes (if any) are to be paid by the customers themselves and that Bangtan Pins will not be held responsible for any missing packages once they have been dropped off at the post office for handling.

My item has arrived in poor condition. Can I get a refund?

First and foremost, Bangtan Pins would like to sincerely apologise for any damage that has affected the quality of your pin upon delivery. However, refunds are strictly limited to poor packaging by the shop. For example, the studs of the pin have pierced through the rubber clutch and punctured an art print. This too, is limited only to products bought. If freebies were affected due to packaging, Bangtan Pins will not be held responsible.

Should the damage come from the delivery & transit process, the shop will not be held responsible for the damages.

What are preorders?

Preorders are pin designs that require funding before they can be put into production! There are multiple benefits to preordering - you get a discounted price, first dibs on the best quality pins, and special freebies! 


Slots are very limited for preorders, so they're worth buying to get the best quality of the batch for the best price!

In the event of a failed preorder stage - I will inform you via email and refund your order.

How long do preorders take?

Usually 1-3 months, though this may be extended if there are any delays due to national holidays or manufacturer issues. I will keep you informed of any delays via email and on my instagram. Once a preorder has been placed, I am unable to offer a refund unless the preorder stage fails, or if there are significant changes to the design.

When will my order be dispatched?

Please allow 1-3 working days for an instock order to be dispatched. During exceptionally busy periods this may extend to 3-5 working days. Please check the homepage for the current dispatch time-frame.

If you order a preorder item with an instock item, please note that the instock will be held until I receive the preorder product from my manufacturer. If you require the instock item sooner, please place a separate order.

What payment methods do you accept?

Do you accept returns/cancellations?

I do accept returns, so long as you contact me within 14 days of delivery, and the item is returned to me within 30 days. Customers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, I will not be able to process the refund. 

I do not accept cancellations, but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

The product I ordered and received was not like I expected. Can I get a refund for it? 

Apart from there being a slight difference in the colour of the product due to different lighting, our products are displayed on the website as they are in real life. 

In the event that you have received a different grade of pin with clear manufacturing defects that do not fall under the category of the grade you have bought (we have added a short summary on different pin grades in this page), Bangtan Pins will reimburse the amount you have paid for the pin alone and not the shipping or taxes paid.

I was not present to collect my parcel from the post office and they have returned it to the shop. Can it be shipped to me again?

Yes. However, shipping costs and any taxes are to be paid by the customer.

My parcel was returned to you/withheld due to delivery errors. Can I have it shipped back to me?

In the event that the delivery failed due to delivery errors such as :- wrong address and it is proven that it is on the customer's part, the parcel can only be shipped back to the customers with the condition that the second delivery fees are borne by the customers themselves.

If the destination country has withheld or halted any trades from Malaysia (the country the shop is based in) and the package has not been returned to the shop, the shop reserves the rights to try to redeem it but if that is unsuccessful, we sincerely apologise for it is out of our hands.
